Bell N Tell

Being located at Sarola on the Mumbai Bangalore Highway 6 means we see a lot of different faces every single day. Bell N Tell isn't your typical city shop where you see the same neighbors every morning. Instead, we get a lot of travelers and truck drivers who are passing through and realize they’ve lost their charger or their phone screen cracked somewhere near Mulund. The highway is always humming with noise, and the wind carries a lot of dust, so we’re constantly cleaning the glass cases where we keep the handsets. We sell a bit of everything related to phones, from basic sets to the more modern ones. It’s a practical place. We keep a cooler with water for people who come in looking a bit tired from the road. My father started this because he realized people on long trips need a reliable place to stop for tech stuff. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big slogans. We just know our stock and where everything is kept. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use our battery lamps to show customers the different models, which feels a bit old-fashioned but works fine. We stay open late because the highway never really sleeps, and you never know when someone is going to need a SIM card or an emergency power bank at midnight.
