Bearings & Millstores Corporation

If you go to the first floor of the Botawala Building on Nagdevi Street, you’ll find us. We’re in Sector 7 C at 139/A. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you’re up here, it’s full of bearings and all sorts of millstore supplies. Nagdevi is famous for these kinds of shops, so we fit right in. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some corners. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We spend most of our time looking up part numbers and pulling items from the shelves. It’s a dusty business, but we don't mind it much. The building has been here for ages, and so have we. Customers usually come in knowing exactly what size or type they need. We don’t do much selling; we just provide the parts they’re looking for. Sometimes the street downstairs is so crowded you can’t even move, but up here it’s a bit more manageable. It’s just us and the stock. We’ve known the other shop owners in Botawala Building for years. It’s a tight-knit place where everyone knows everyone’s business. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, making sure the right bearings get to the right people.
