Basera Aloevera Farming

If you walk down Nal Bazar near the Grant Road Station East side, you will find us at number 4. We are right there in Ambewadi. It is a very tight street and there is always something going on outside our door. We do a lot with aloe vera plants and farming. It gets a bit sticky in the shop sometimes because of the plants, and the smell of the fresh leaves is pretty strong. We spend most of our mornings getting the stock ready and talking to the people who come in from the neighborhood. It is not a big corporate operation or anything like that. We just have our space and we do our work. The floor is usually a bit damp from washing the plants down. We use some old wooden tables for sorting through everything. Sometimes the trains at Grant Road are so loud you have to stop talking for a second. It is a lively place to be, though. We have been here for a bit and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. We don't have a fancy sign or anything, just the address and our name. Usually, we are just busy packing things up or checking on the quality of the latest batch that came in from the fields. It is honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day long. Sometimes we run out of crates and have to scramble to find more before the next delivery arrives.
