Access Floor International

Our office is over in the Keshava building, room 506. Being in the Bandra Kurla Complex means we are right in the middle of everything in Bandra East. It’s a very busy area with a lot of glass buildings and expensive cars, but our office feels a bit more grounded than that. We deal with flooring systems, so you’ll see panels and pedestals tucked under desks or leaning against the walls. It’s a functional space where we spend most of our time on laptops or looking at technical drawings. The elevators in the building can be slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't the type of people who wear suits every day unless we really have to. We prefer just getting the work done and making sure our orders are correct. The view from the fifth floor is okay, but we’re usually too busy to look out the window. Sometimes we grab a quick bite at one of the stalls nearby or just bring lunch from home. It’s a lot of talk about specifications and load-bearing capacities, which might sound boring to some, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in BKC for a good stretch of time and have watched the whole area transform. We just keep our small corner of the building running and focus on the tasks at hand without any unnecessary drama. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing all afternoon.
