We have been here at N M Joshi Marg in Lower Parel for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, 219 is easy to find if you know the area. Mostly it is just us handling phones and stuff that people bring in when things stop working. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic but we stay busy inside. Usually, someone is asking about a screen that cracked or why their battery is dying so fast. We don't have anything fancy, just the tools and the counters. Sometimes the lights flicker but we keep going. People from the offices nearby drop in during lunch. It’s a lot of work but it's what we do. We see all kinds of phones, old ones and the new ones too. It is not always easy to find parts but we try to keep things in stock. The shop isn't huge, so things get a bit cramped when it's crowded. We just sit here and fix what comes across the table. It is just a regular day-to-day business. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk. Other days there is a line out the door. We try to be honest about how long a repair will take. Sometimes it takes an hour, sometimes a few days. That is just how it goes with electronics. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years around Lower Parel. But the shop stays pretty much the same.
