Babu Plastic Works

Babu Plastic Works is located over in Goregaon East. We don't have a complex address, just a workshop where we get things done. It’s a local operation through and through. We work with plastics, mostly doing custom jobs or small batches for people who need specific parts. The workshop in Goregaon East is where we spend all our time. It’s got that smell of heated plastic and the sound of cutters going most of the day. We are not a giant factory with automated lines; a lot of what we do involves manual work and checking things by hand. It’s a bit messy and there is always scrap material around, but that’s the nature of plastic work. We started this because we had the skills and Goregaon East seemed like a good place to set up shop. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy logo. Most of our customers are folks from the nearby area or other small businesses who need something made. We just try to do a decent job so they come back next time. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them instead of working, which is frustrating but it happens. It’s just us, working hard in our corner of the city. We keep it simple and focus on the tasks at hand.
