Ayurvedashish

We've been here in Andheri for a while now, tucked away in the Mhada Colony at Poonam Nagar. It started out because we wanted to bring some of the older ways of doing things back to the neighborhood. Ayurvedashish isn't a big fancy clinic or anything, just a small spot in Saidham Society where we keep our supplies and talk to people who come by. We spend a lot of our time sorting through herbs and oils. It gets busy some days with the traffic outside, but inside we try to keep things quiet. We aren't trying to change the world, just helping out the folks nearby with what we know about traditional stuff. Sometimes my nephew helps with the bookkeeping, though he's more into his phone than the bottles. We grew up around these smells and plants, so it just felt right to open a place like this. Most people find us through word of mouth, which is fine by us. We’re on the fourth floor, so it’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than I’d like. But once you’re here, it’s just us. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the routine. It’s a simple life, really. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s not glamorous, but it is honest work that we enjoy.
