Avis & Baker Recruitment

We have been over here at B E S T Nagar for a while now, specifically in Sector 35. Our office is at D 6/119, which isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here. Most mornings start with someone forgetting their keys or the tea delivery being late. We spend the day looking through stacks of papers and emails from people who want jobs. Avis & Baker Recruitment isn't a massive place with glass walls; it’s just a few desks and some old filing cabinets that squeak. People walk in off the street asking if we have work in the neighborhood or maybe further out in the city. We try to keep track of who is hiring and who isn't, but things change fast. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it’s just us sitting here listening to the traffic outside. The fans hum constantly to keep the heat away, but it doesn't always work. We see a lot of different people coming through the door. Some are nervous and others have done this a hundred times. We just write down their details and see if any of the companies we talk to need someone like them. It’s a lot of waiting and matching things up. There isn't much more to it than that. We just show up every morning, open the files, and see what the day brings in this part of Sector 35.
