My place, Avikkal Rajan, is over in Powai, specifically at C-104. Being quite close to the Hiranandani Gardens area means it's always full of life and people walking around. The building stays fairly quiet compared to the main roads. Setting up here was a good choice because it’s a nice location and I live nearby. This isn't a big corporate setup. It’s just a workspace where I handle my day-to-day tasks. Sometimes I work alone, and other times a couple of people come in to help out with the workload. Books and papers are stacked high on the shelves. The view from the window isn't much, just the next building over, but it’s home for the business. Emailing and making calls takes up a lot of my time on the computer. Powai has changed so much with all the new shops and cafes, but this corner stays pretty much the same. Walking to get some air in the evenings near the gardens is a regular habit. The office is simple, just a few chairs and a table where we can sit and talk. Nothing flashy is needed here. People who know me just drop by when they are in the neighborhood. Keeping things informal works better for everyone involved. Staying late happens when there’s a lot to finish, but mostly we stick to regular hours. Doing what I know how to do makes it a decent way to spend the day.
