Avaya Globalconnect Limited

Avaya Globalconnect Limited is over in Lower Parel, at the Matulya Centre on Senapati Bapat Marg. We’re in A Block, unit 249. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets. The traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg is almost always backed up, so most of us take the train and then walk or grab an auto. The office is pretty standard for a big building like Matulya Centre. We have our desks and computers and a lot of phones. It’s a fast-paced kind of place because there’s always someone calling or some system that needs looking at. We spend a lot of time on headsets. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. Even though the name sounds big, inside it’s just a bunch of people trying to keep things connected. We eat our lunch in the little break area or go down to the street to find something quick. Lower Parel has changed so much with all the malls and new towers, but our corner feels pretty much the same. We have our routines and our daily tasks that keep us busy until late. It gets quite warm in the afternoons if the sun hits the windows just right. We don’t have much time for fluff; we just focus on the technical stuff and getting through the day’s list of things to do.
