Avanti Enterprises is based over in Mahim, specifically at 41283. It’s a bit of an old-school setup we have here. The building has been around for a while and so have we. Dealing with the day-to-day tasks in Mahim means you have to be ready for anything, especially with the way the streets get during the rush. Our office is more of a functional space than anything else. We have files stacked up and the phones keep us busy enough throughout the morning. It’s just a handful of us working together, trying to stay on top of the orders that come through. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy displays. Most of the time, we’re just talking to suppliers or coordinating with people who need our stuff. The weather in Mahim can be a bit much in the monsoon, but we keep the place dry and keep moving. It’s a local business, through and through. I’ve been coming to this same spot for years, and not much has changed in the immediate area. We know the shopkeepers nearby and where to get the best lunch on the corner. It’s a steady pace of work. We don’t have a big corporate structure, just a boss who’s usually here and a few staff members who know the drill. If you walk in, you’ll likely see us buried in paperwork or on a call. It’s how we’ve always done it, and it works for us.
