Avani Telecom Pvt Ltd

Our office is right on Mahakali Caves Road, over in Parvati East. We’ve been at number 1 for a while, dealing with all the telecom parts and setups that come through here. Avani Telecom Pvt Ltd is mostly just a group of us trying to keep up with the schedules and the technical side of things. It gets a bit crowded in here with all the boxes and cables lying around. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough desk space for everyone, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to sort through everything by hand. The area around Mahakali Caves can be pretty busy with traffic, so getting in and out sometimes takes longer than we'd like. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that people don't usually see. It's not glamorous work. There’s a lot of paperwork and technical lists to go through every morning before we can even start the real tasks. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the circuit boards or talk to the guys out in the field. Sometimes the internet in our own office goes slow, which is kind of funny considering we are a telecom company. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. It's a regular workplace where things occasionally go wrong, like a printer jamming or someone losing their keys. We aren't trying to be some giant corporate entity; we just want to get through the work week without too many headaches.
