Aura Essentials

Being located in the Juhu Scheme area of Vile Parle is nice but it’s still Mumbai so everything is a bit fast-paced. Aura Essentials is tucked away in Kewal Kunj at 18/2 on Gulmohar Cross Road Number 12. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads but we still get plenty of noise from the nearby schools and houses. The office feels a bit like a home because of the way the building is structured. We have our supplies arranged in different rooms and the whole place often smells like whatever we are working on that day. Sometimes it’s lavender and other times it’s something much stronger. We are a small team and most of us live close by so we walk to work. There’s no big sign out front or a fancy lobby to greet people. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of the workspace. We spend a lot of time packing small bottles and labeling things by hand. It’s tedious work but we put on the radio and just get through it together. Sometimes the monsoon rain leaks a little near the back window so we have to move the boxes around. We don’t have a big corporate structure or managers watching over our shoulders. It’s just a practical setup for making and sending out our goods to the shops that need them.
