Augmar Arts

Augmar Arts is located at Shop No. 66 on Shell Colony Road in Chembur. We are right opposite the Mm Temple, which makes it easy for people to find us. Usually, you can hear the bells from the temple throughout the day. It gives the place a nice feel, even when we’re swamped with work. The shop is small, but we make it work. Every corner is filled with some kind of art piece or tool. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but it has character. The road outside is always busy with people heading to the station or local markets. We get a lot of regulars who stop by just to see what we’re working on today. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet and just watch the traffic. We’ve been in Chembur for a while and it feels like home. Working here means dealing with the dust and the noise, but we don’t mind it much. It’s a real place for real people. We don’t use any fancy talk about our art. We just make things. If you walk in, you’ll probably see me with some paint or dust on my hands. That’s just how it goes when you’re actually working. We don't try to be something we're not. We just keep the shop open and keep our hands busy with whatever project is next on the list. It is a good way to spend the day.
