I work out of room 402 in Venus Tower, which is in Andheri West near the old Navrang Theatre. It’s an easy enough place to find once you get to the theatre area. My office is a bit small but it fits my desk and a few chairs for when people come to talk. I handle various professional matters here, mostly things involving paperwork and numbers. It’s just me, so if I’m out for a meeting, the door will be locked. I’ve been in Venus Tower for a long time now. The building is a bit busy during the day with all the different offices. I try to keep my files organized but sometimes the stacks of paper get a bit high on the corners of my desk. People usually call before they come over so I can make sure I’m there. It is a quiet office for the most part, except when the traffic outside gets really heavy. I don't have a big staff or a fancy secretary. I answer my own phone and do my own typing. It’s a simple way of working that suits me. I’ve lived in Andheri for most of my life, so I know the neighborhood like the back of my hand. I just do my work honestly and try to help folks out. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we chat for a bit. It is a decent way to spend the day.
