Our office is tucked away in Byculla, right near the Dockyard Road station. The actual address is 521 Samadhan Niwas, Flat No 2. It is an older building, which is common in this part of Mumbai. Atharva Architects Interior Designer Decorator is quite a long name for such a small space. We have blueprints and different material samples taking up most of the room. Flat No 2 is not very large, so we have to watch where we step so we don't knock anything over. The sound of the trains passing by on the Dockyard Road line is constant. After a while, you don't even hear it anymore. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to visit. If someone wants to see our ideas, we just show them the drawings on our desks. It is not a very glamorous job despite what the title might sound like. It is mostly just measuring things and checking the math.
