You can find our office at B/402 in the Panchratna building on Dr. Radhakrishnan Marg in Andheri East. Being in Mumbai means we are always in the middle of the noise and the rush, but inside the office, we try to keep things focused on the work. Atelier D'Arts & Architecture has been in this spot for quite a while now. We are a private limited company, but we don't act like a big corporate firm. It’s more like a group of people who really care about how buildings are put together. We do both the art side of things and the hard architecture. Most of our day is spent navigating the complexities of building in Mumbai—the space is tight and the rules are always changing. We work with a lot of different clients, some who have a lot of ideas and some who just want us to tell them what will work. We don't use a lot of fancy talk; we just show the blueprints and explain the steps. The office is often full of rolls of tracing paper and old models that we’ve made over the years. It’s a bit of a workspace, not a showroom. We focus on getting the details right even if it takes a bit more time. People know us for being reliable and for staying in Andheri, which is a central spot for everyone to reach us. It's just about getting the job done properly.
