Our little shop is located in Gala Number 2, right in Subhash Nagar here in Ghatkopar West. If you know where the Gurudev Hotel is, we are just a short walk away from there. It’s a busy neighborhood, and finding parking can be a real headache sometimes, but we’ve been in this spot long enough that we’re used to it. The gala isn't very large, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in. We spend most of our time moving things around to make space for people to walk through and see what we have. It’s mostly just us working here, trying to keep track of orders and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls are covered with different samples and bits of things for the home. It isn't a showroom like those big malls have, it's more of a working space where we get things done. Some days it’s quiet and we just organize the shelves, other days it feels like everyone is stopping by at once. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights, just the name on the door and our stuff inside. Most people who come in are from around the area or heard about us from a neighbor. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks of running a small business in a place like Ghatkopar.
