Astro Mech

You can find Astro Mech at unit number 29 in the Diamond Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to the Dahisar Toll Naka, so the sound of traffic is something we hear all day long. It’s a handy location for getting stuff in and out, even if the traffic gets backed up sometimes. The workshop is where we do all our mechanical work. It’s got that old-school feel with tools hanging on the walls and bits of machinery scattered around on the workbenches. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. People just come by the estate and look for our number on the door. It’s usually a bit dusty and there’s always a faint smell of oil in the air, which is how a real workshop should be. We’re just a small group here. We handle the repairs and the builds ourselves. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. If someone needs something fixed or a part made, we just look at it and tell them what can be done. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We have been here for a while and the other guys in the estate know us well. It’s a good community of workshops. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do and we like it.
