Assign Arts

Assign Arts is based out of Gala No. 1 in the Tirupati Industrial Estate. We are situated in Subhash Nagar, right on Nahur Village Road. It is near the Khalsa Compound and there is a Hanuman Mandir very close by. Being in an industrial estate means it is always a bit dusty and noisy around our unit. Our gala is a basic space where we do all our art and production work. We have been in Bhandup West for a long time. The space is filled with tools, paints, and whatever projects we are currently working on. There is not much room for a lounge or a waiting area for guests. We usually have the doors open to let some air in while we work through the heat. The neighborhood is full of small workshops just like ours. We see the same people every day at the tea stall or near the temple. It’s a hardworking part of town and we fit right in. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people know us because they walk past our door or they’ve heard about us from someone else nearby. We just focus on finishing the jobs we have on the table. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on track. It is a very normal, local setup where we just do our work and go home to our families.
