Asian Time Centre

Asian Time Centre is located on Raopura Main Road, very close to the G P O in the Fort area. We have been working with watches and clocks for a long time. When you walk into our shop, the first thing you notice is the sound of all the different clocks ticking at once. It is a very specific kind of atmosphere that you do not find in modern stores anymore. We have glass cabinets filled with all kinds of watches, from simple ones for kids to more traditional designs for adults. A big part of what we do is repairing watches that have stopped working. It is very precise work that requires a steady hand and a lot of focus on tiny details. We use old-style tools and magnifying loupes to see the tiny gears inside the watch cases. The Fort area is always busy with people going to the post office or commuting to work, so we see a lot of different faces throughout the day. We are not a high-end luxury boutique. We are a practical shop for people who value their timepieces and want to keep them running for years. Sometimes it is hard to find parts for the older clocks that people bring in, but we do our best to track them down. It is a quiet and steady business, and we like the feeling of finishing a repair.
