Asian Polymers

We've been here at Jaykar Samruti in Goregaon West for a good while now. Shop number 27 is where you’ll usually find us, right near Subhash Chowk. The area gets pretty crowded, especially during the peak hours on Gurukul Road. We mostly deal with polymer stuff and different types of plastic materials that people need for their projects or small manufacturing units nearby. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. There’s always some inventory arriving or being sent out, so the space stays pretty packed with bags and samples. Sometimes the fans are just not enough for the heat, but we get through the day. People come in asking for specific grades of plastic and we try to see what's in the back or what we can get for them. Living and working around Goregaon has its own pace. You know how it is with the local traffic and the constant noise from the street. We just keep the shutters up and do our work. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to suppliers to make sure things arrive on time. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us managing the orders and talking to the folks who drop by. Parshwanath Tower is right there, so it’s easy to find us if you know the landmark. Most days are just spent checking stock and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the shift.
