Ashwini S Avasthi

I’ve been working out of this spot at 240 /6246 Pantnagar for quite a long time now. Most people know the Vijaynagar Road area because it’s always got something going on. Our office is in the Mahavir Prem building. It’s not a fancy glass tower or anything like that, just a solid place where we get our work done every day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to the sound of the horns and the people walking by. We have a few desks and a lot of files that have been stacking up over the years. My name is Ashwini S Avasthi and this is basically where I spend most of my waking hours. The neighbors are alright, we mostly keep to ourselves but say hello in the hallway. The light in the afternoons is actually pretty nice through the window. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station but it keeps us active. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights, just the name on the door so people know they found the right place. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes through the door and try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say other than we are here from Monday to Saturday, usually starting around nine or ten depending on how the morning goes. It feels like home after all these years and we know the neighborhood well.
