Ashish N Shah

Our shop is known as Ashish N Shah, located at 41317 Gram Panchayat Road. We are part of the Jay Surajba Society, specifically in the Sonal Apartments building. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main market roads. People living in the society often stop by just to say hello or to ask if we can fix a loose handle on something, though watches are what we mostly do. The apartment space has been converted a bit to fit the workbenches and the storage cabinets. It feels more like a home office than a store, which is how we like it. We have a lot of tools scattered around, and there’s always a project half-finished on the desk. Ashish has been doing this for a long time, and he knows most of the families around Gram Panchayat Road. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the delicate parts. Sometimes the parts for the older watches are hard to find, so we have to hunt through our old stock to see if we have a match. It takes time, but there’s no reason to rush. Most people who come here aren't in a hurry anyway. They just want their father’s old watch to start moving again. We do our best with what we have and keep the workspace as tidy as we can manage.
