Asha Mobile Co is a small outfit located in Gaothan, Pali Hill 1. It’s a bit of a different vibe up here compared to the busier parts of the city. We’ve got a steady stream of people from the neighborhood who drop in. Usually, they’ve forgotten their password or their screen has gone completely black. I sit at the front counter most of the day. It’s not a huge shop, just enough room for the display cases and a stool for me to sit on while I work on a phone. I handle a lot of basic stuff—SIM cards, data plans, and selling those cheap protective covers that everyone wants. Sometimes I have to explain to the older folks how to use their new smartphones, which takes a bit of patience. I don't mind it. It’s part of the job. The shop is a bit cluttered with old boxes and cables that I really should throw away, but you never know when someone might need an old charger. We don't do big advertisements or anything. People just know we’re here by word of mouth. It’s a quiet life mostly. I drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next customer to walk through the door. It’s just a simple mobile shop. We try to be helpful and stay open late enough for the people coming home from work. That’s about all there is to it.
