Our office is located in the A1 Apartments on Shankar Lane, specifically near K V Temple Street in Sultanpet. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We are up in the apartment building, so it’s a bit more private than a shop on the street. Most of our day is spent looking at resumes and talking to people who are searching for work. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while they wait to talk to us. It can get pretty noisy when all the phones start ringing at once, but that’s a good sign that things are moving. Being near the temple means there is often a bit of music or bells in the background, which is actually quite nice. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees; it’s just a few of us trying to help people find the right spots for their skills. We spend a lot of time on the computer and drinking tea to keep our energy up. The apartment isn't huge, so it feels quite personal when people come in for a chat. We just try to listen to what people need and see if we can find something that fits. It’s a simple process, and we don't try to make it more complicated than it needs to be. Just everyday work in a busy neighborhood where we know our neighbors and the shopkeepers downstairs.
