Arihant collection

Out here in Borivali West, things move pretty fast. Our shop, Arihant collection, is tucked away on S V Road near the number 4 mark. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. The shop itself is packed with stuff. We have rows of things hanging up and piles on the counters that we are constantly trying to keep neat. It’s a losing battle most days because people like to touch and look at everything. We started this because it felt like the right spot to be. There isn’t much space to move around when we get more than three people inside at once, but we make it work. The light from the street comes in through the front window, showing all the dust motes dancing in the air. Sometimes we just stand by the door to get some fresh air between customers. We don’t do big advertisements or anything. Most people just see the sign while they are walking to the station. The floor tiles are a bit worn down from all the footsteps over the years. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the other shop owners nearby about the weather or how the trains are running. It’s a simple life, folding clothes and helping people find what they need without making a big fuss about it. Every day is just more of the same routine for us.
