Archana Maheshwari

My name is Archana Maheshwari and I run my business from 102 Anit Society on Dixit Road. This is right in Vile Parle East, which is a very busy part of Mumbai. If you walk down the street, you’ll see lots of small shops and people rushing to the station. I’ve been in this building for some time now and it feels like home. I didn't have a big investment or a fancy plan when I started. I just knew I wanted to work on my own terms. My office is basically just one room where I keep all my stuff. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes because I’m always in the middle of something. I don’t have a polished website or a team of experts. I’m the one who answers the calls and I’m the one who does the work. Some days are long and I end up staying late, but that’s how it is when you’re the owner. Vile Parle is a great place to be because everything is so close, even if the noise from the street never really stops. I try to stay practical about everything. I don’t promise things I can't do. I just tell people what I can manage and I go from there. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and I think that’s why it works for me and the people I help. There is no magic to it, just showing up.
