Aptech Design

We have our office for Aptech Design over in Malad West. It’s on Jew Street, specifically in the Yugam Sahwas building, units 4 and 5. This part of Malad is quite lived-in, so there are houses and shops all mixed together. We like being on Jew Street because it’s not as chaotic as the main road, but it’s still easy to get to. The space we have is split across the two units. We have our computers and drawing boards set up where the light is decent. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. There are usually scraps of paper and notes scattered around because that’s just how we work. It’s not always perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. People sometimes get confused by the building layout, but once you find units 4 and 5, you’re there. We spend most of the day here, drinking tea and working on whatever projects are on the table. It’s a small team, so it’s pretty quiet unless we’re discussing a layout or a change in a drawing. We don't go in for fancy decor; we just have what’s necessary to get the job done. Malad is a good place to be based, even with the traffic and the noise from the neighbors. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and it feels like home now.
