Apna Vahatuk Sahakari Society Ltd

Our office is located in Chembur, right near the Cindirangsovashinaka area on SH8. Being part of Apna Vahatuk Sahakari Society Ltd means we spend a lot of time dealing with transport and coordination. It’s a cooperative setup, so things are a bit different than a standard private company. We have drivers and members coming in and out all day long. The office is usually buzzing with people talking about routes or paperwork. It’s a practical space, lots of filing cabinets and a big table where we sit down to discuss things. Chembur is a central spot for us, making it easier to manage the logistics side of things. We’ve been operating out of this SH8 location for a while now. The coffee machine is always running because the days can get long. We don't do much in terms of advertising; the society is more about the people involved in it. You might see our vehicles around the city quite often. It’s not always easy keeping everything organized, especially with the traffic issues around here, but we do our part. We aren't looking for awards or anything, just trying to make sure the transport society runs okay for everyone. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in this kind of work, so we spend a lot of time at our desks checking logs and making sure the schedules are met. Sometimes we stay late when a driver has a problem on the road. It’s just how we operate. It's a community effort more than anything else.
