Anupam Shopee

I've been at Anupam Shopee on B. J. Shirke Company Road for some time now. Pune gets pretty busy around here, especially in Andheri East. We mostly just keep things moving day to day. It is a small place, nothing fancy, just a counter and some shelves full of stuff people need. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise but we got used to it. People drop by while they are heading home from work or just passing through the industrial stretch. It isn’t always quiet, but that is how a shop should be. My brother helps out when I have to run errands. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that because most folks around here already know where we are. Usually, the morning starts with cleaning the glass and checking what arrived in the last shipment. If a box is late, we just wait. Life is simple like that. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Some people come in just to ask for directions or check the time. We don't mind. It's just how the neighborhood works. Sometimes the rain gets inside a bit if the wind is strong, so we have to move the stock back. It’s part of being on this road. We just try to have what people are looking for when they walk in. No big speeches or promises, just the door being open when it should be.
