Ankit Mobile & Novelties

If you walk down Khetwadi and look for Shop 2, that is where we are. Ankit Mobile & Novelties is a small place but we keep it packed with all sorts of things. Most of the walls are covered with mobile covers in every color you can think of. We have chargers, cables, and those little toys and gifts that people like to buy on their way home. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and people shouting, but inside it’s a bit calmer. Ankit is usually behind the counter talking to someone about a screen guard or showing a new plastic trinket. We don't have a lot of room to move around, especially when a few customers come in at once. It gets a bit cramped. The lighting isn't the best, but it works for what we do. We've been in Khetwadi for a while and know most of the people who walk past our door every morning. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound that we keep meaning to fix. It’s a simple shop with a lot of small items squeezed into every corner. We spend the mornings opening boxes and hanging things on the hooks. By the time evening comes, the place is usually a bit of a mess from people looking through the novelty items. We just tidy it up and start again the next day. It’s just how things go here in Shop 2.
