Rupin Organics

Our small office for Rupin Organics is located at B-21 in Monarch Nagar, right on B. S. Road in the J. B. Nagar area. It’s a pretty typical Mumbai suburban spot. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry when the monsoons hit. We deal with organic products, so our workspace often has a particular smell to it, depending on what we are handling that week. It’s not a big team here, just a few of us sharing the space and trying to stay on top of the orders. The street outside, B. S. Road, is always busy with rickshaws and people walking to the station. We’ve got desks piled with papers and some samples of the organic chemicals we work with. It isn’t the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it works perfectly for us. We have a small kettle for making tea, and that’s about as fancy as our break room gets. Most of our time is spent talking to suppliers and making sure the quality of the organics is where it needs to be. We’ve been in J. B. Nagar for a while and like being part of the local mix. It’s a straightforward business, and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed even when we are busy with a big shipment.
