Our office is at Shukla Street D/5 in Goregaon West. It is a bit of a tight squeeze down this lane, especially when the delivery vans try to back in. And Global Sales Corporation isn’t some big glass building. It’s just a ground floor space with desks pushed against the walls and a lot of files. We deal with a lot of paperwork every day. The phone rings a lot, and usually, it’s someone asking where their order is or if we have something in stock that we haven't seen in months. We have a small corner for making coffee, but the machine is old and makes a lot of noise. The walls are painted a dull cream color that has faded over the years. We have one window, but it looks out onto a brick wall, so we don't get much light. Most of the day is spent on the computer or talking to people on the street who stop by for a chat. We have a few cabinets that don't close properly, so we have to use tape to keep the drawers shut. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. My desk is covered in sticky notes because I forget things if I don't write them down immediately. It's just a regular bunch of people working here, trying to get through the pile of work before the weekend comes. It gets the job done and keeps us busy.
