Anant Plastic Industries

Anant Plastic Industries is located over in Malad West at 19/31/1. It’s more of a workshop than an office. We have machines running most of the day, so there’s always a bit of a hum in the air and the smell of warm plastic. It can get pretty hot in here, especially during the summer months when the metal roof picks up all that heat. We have a few big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We spend our time making different types of plastic goods, mostly small parts that go into other things. There are stacks of crates and bags of raw material everywhere you look. It’s not a place for someone who likes everything to be perfectly clean. We get our hands dirty and we work long hours to make sure the orders are ready on time. The lane outside is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a struggle when a truck needs to come in or leave. We’ve known the other business owners on this block for a long time, so we all help each other out when someone needs a tool or a bit of extra space. We don't have a marketing department or any of that. We just focus on the machines and making sure the quality is okay. It’s just honest work in a busy part of Malad that keeps us going every single day.
