Our office is tucked away in the Unique Industrial Estate in Vile Parle East. We are on the third floor of the B Wing, which is off V S Road and near Subhash Road Number 8. It’s an industrial area, so there are a lot of small factories and warehouses around us. Even though we do management consulting, we like being in a place where people are actually making things. The office isn't very corporate. We have some desks, a few old chairs, and a lot of folders stacked up on the floor because we ran out of cabinet space a long time ago. We spend our days looking at papers and talking to clients on the phone. Sometimes we go out to visit their sites, but a lot of the work happens right here. The windows look out over the rooftops of other industrial buildings. It’s not the quietest place, but we’ve grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you. We keep a kettle for making tea and coffee, which is how we get through the long afternoons. It’s a practical environment for the kind of consulting we do. We've been in this building for several years now and the location works well for getting around the city. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being serviced.
