Amruta Engineers

Amruta Engineers is tucked away in Kandivali West on 90 Feet Cross Road. We are specifically in the Ganesh Nagar area, down the lane where the Bulsane Hotel is. If you know Charkop, you probably know this general vicinity. Our workshop is usually quite loud because we have machines running most of the day. There is always the smell of oil and metal in the air, which I guess is just part of the job. We work on various engineering parts and small repairs for local clients who need things fabricated or fixed up. The floor is often covered in metal shavings and we spend a lot of time cleaning up after a big job is finished. It’s not the cleanest environment, but we get the work done. I started this place because I like working with my hands and seeing how things fit together. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist; if you come by, you’ll probably find us in greasy overalls near the lathe. The lane gets a bit cramped when delivery trucks come through, especially near the hotel, but we manage. It’s a hardworking spot and we’ve been part of this Ganesh Nagar community for years. Most people just find us by word of mouth or by hearing the machines from the street. It’s a practical business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects on the list.
