Amrut Plastics Mum

Our small unit is tucked away in Kandivali East, right near Nibm Road. It’s a busy area and the noise of the traffic is always in the background while we work. We mostly deal with various plastic goods and materials that people use every day. The place is filled with stacks of items, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space to move around. We started Amrut Plastics because we knew the local demand was there, and we just kept going since then. It’s not a corporate setup with a reception desk or anything. You just walk in and you’ll see us working among the inventory. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out why a shipment is late. The dust from the road gets inside quite often, so we are always wiping down the surfaces. It gets really crowded on the weekends when more people are out and about. We usually have lunch together in the back corner of the shop. Simple home-cooked food. We aren't trying to change the world, we are just trying to get these plastic orders out to the people who need them. It’s hard work, especially when it rains and we have to worry about the stock getting damp or the road outside flooding. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It's just a regular local business life. We've been here for a few years and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still in the same spot.
