Amritlal Suthar

I’ve been at I/23 in Rizvi Park for quite some time now. Linking Road is always busy, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about shopping or just walking around. Most days start pretty early here. We open up the shutters, sweep the floor, and get things ready before the heat really kicks in. It’s a small spot, but it works for us. Living and working around Bandra means you get used to the noise and the constant movement of cars and rickshaws outside. Sometimes the traffic is so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other, but that’s just how it is. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we see the same faces every morning at the tea stall nearby. It isn’t fancy at all. We just have our desks, some old chairs, and a lot of papers that seem to pile up no matter how much we organize them. People stop by mostly because they know the name Amritlal Suthar or they were just passing by on their way to the main market. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop everything for a few days to get it done. It’s a practical space. We handle our daily tasks, talk to whoever walks through the door, and try to get home before the evening rush hour makes the roads impossible. That is just our life here.
