Amitronics

Narayan Dhuru Street is always a bit of a scramble, and that is where we are located in Dahisar East. Our spot is C-708. It is one of those buildings where you have to wait a while for the lift if it’s around lunchtime. Amitronics has been here for a good while. The office isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have shelves filled with components and parts that we use every day. Some of the labels are peeling off, but we know where everything is. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons because the sun hits the windows directly. We usually have a fan going, which makes a clicking sound that we’ve all stopped noticing by now. Working in Dahisar East means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the trains if you listen closely enough. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We just show up, do the technical work, and go home. Most of our days are spent looking at small parts and talking about how to fix things. It’s a simple setup. We have a small kettle for making coffee when the weather gets a bit grey. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions because the street layout is a bit confusing. We don't mind. It’s just part of being here at C-708.
