Ambica Creations

We’ve been here at the Warden Court Building for a good bit now. It’s right near August Kranti Maidan in Gandhi Gram. Most people know the spot. It isn't a fancy place, just where we do our work. When we started Ambica Creations, we just wanted a space to make things. The building has that old feel to it, which we like. Some days are busier than others, especially with the traffic around the Maidan. We mostly deal with fabrics and local folks who stop by. We don't really do much advertising because people just find us. The shop isn't huge but it fits everything we need. You can usually find one of us hanging around the counter. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put in this corner. It gets a bit dusty being near the main road, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes rolls of cloth end up in piles where they shouldn't be. If you’re walking past Gandhi Gram, you’ll see our sign. It’s a quiet enough operation most of the time. We just focus on getting the orders done and making sure the pieces look right before they leave the door. It's a simple life here at number 2. No big corporate meetings or anything like that. Just us and the work.
