Anyone who knows Mumbai knows that Lamington Road is the place to be for electronics, and we’ve been right in the middle of that chaos for years. Our shop is in an old building, the Aagboatwala Mansion, which has a lot of character but also its fair share of leaks and creaky floors. We deal with all sorts of electronic parts and gadgets. The space is small and usually crowded with boxes and customers looking for specific components that they can't find anywhere else. It’s loud, dusty, and always busy, but that is just the way Lamington Road operates. We don't have time for fancy marketing or a polished image. We’re usually too busy digging through drawers to find a specific transistor or talking to a customer about their circuit design. We like the energy of this area, even if it gets exhausting sometimes. Being at shop number 7 means we are part of a long line of traders who have been here for decades. We just keep our heads down, serve the people who walk through the door, and try to keep up with all the new technology coming out. It’s a gritty, real-world business, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are just here doing our job.
