Amar Seating Systems

Amar Seating Systems is tucked away at D-3 in the Sakinaka area, specifically in Andhrahalli Village. We are right across from the Blue Star Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us in Peenya. We spend our time putting together seats and chairs, which is more complicated than it looks. The workshop is usually full of foam, fabric, and metal frames. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a fancy front office, just a workspace where we get the orders done. It gets quite loud with the staplers and the machinery going all day. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the locals around the village are used to the noise. Some days we have a lot of work piled up and other days it’s a bit quieter, giving us time to organize the materials. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees, just a small group of us making sure the chairs are sturdy. Sometimes we run out of a certain fabric or a machine breaks down, and we just have to figure it out ourselves. It’s practical work and we don’t try to dress it up. We just make seating and hope it does the job for the people who buy it. It's mostly just about getting the measurements right and making sure the stitching holds up under daily use in someone's home or office.
