Amar Mahal Davakhana

I’ve been running this place, Amar Mahal Davakhana, for a good while now. We are located right on Station Road, very close to the station in Chembur West. If you’re coming from the bridge, the Amar Breej, you’ll see us right across from it. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always a lot of noise and people rushing to catch their trains. I usually get here early in the morning to get things ready before the first crowd arrives. Dealing with health can be stressful for people, so I try to keep things as calm as I can inside. It isn't a huge, fancy hospital or anything like that. It’s just a regular local clinic where folks come for their medicine or a quick checkup when they aren't feeling well. I see a lot of the same neighbors every week, and we often end up chatting about the local news or how much the area has changed over the years. The traffic outside can be a real mess sometimes, especially during rush hour, but we’re used to it by now. My family has been in this part of Chembur for a long time, so this feels like home to me. I don't use any big words or complicated systems. If someone walks in with a problem, I just try to help them out. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who live around here.
