Alpha Engineering Works

Alpha Engineering Works is tucked inside the Sathna Hall Compound at 6 D in Mazgaon. It’s a bit of an industrial corner of the city. We have a lot of metalwork and fabrication happening here most days. The sound of welding and grinding is pretty much the background music to our day. Mazgaon is an older area, and this compound has a lot of history. Our unit is 6 D, and it’s basically just one big room full of machines and raw materials. We don’t really have a dedicated office space, just a desk in the corner where the bills get paid. It’s messy and there’s always something on the floor, but we know where everything is. We spend our time working on whatever custom jobs come in. Most of the guys here are good with their hands and don’t mind getting dirty. It’s a tough job sometimes, but we’ve been doing it at this location for years. People find us by word of mouth mostly. We don’t have any big signs or advertisements. It’s just the work that keeps us going. The compound gets a bit crowded with trucks, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the rain leaks through the roof a bit, but we’ve got buckets for that. We just focus on finishing the jobs as they come through the door.
