Almas Exports & Imports Pvt Ltd

Our place is on the second floor of the Grants Building at 7/25-A, Arthur Bunder Road. Colaba is a busy part of Mumbai, and being near the water makes it feel a bit different. Almas Exports & Imports Pvt Ltd is a small operation. We handle a variety of goods coming in and going out. The office isn't very big, and we have folders stacked up everywhere. You have to walk up the stairs since the building is quite old. It has a lot of character, though. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails about container schedules. It’s mostly administrative work mixed with some warehouse visits. We don’t have a shiny showroom or anything like that. It’s just a functional office where we get the trading done. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three things happen at once, but we manage. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The view outside is just the street with all the tourists and locals walking by. We don't really do much self-promotion. Most people find us through word of mouth or old connections. It’s just a few of us here making sure the imports and exports move along without too many hiccups. We keep things straightforward and don't make a big fuss about what we do. We try to leave around six every evening to avoid the worst of the train rush.
