You can find Alikesh Trader in Mohili Village, which is part of the Sakinaka area. We’ve been trading here for some time now. It’s a very local operation. We deal with various supplies that people in the village need for their daily lives. The shop is tucked into one of the narrow lanes, so you have to look closely for the sign. We don't have a big storefront with huge glass windows or anything. It's more of a traditional trading spot where things are stacked up in the back room. We spend a lot of our day talking to suppliers and making sure we have enough stock for the regulars. Sakinaka is always humid and loud, but Mohili Village has its own rhythm and feel. We know almost all the families around here by name. Sometimes we deliver things if someone can't make it to the shop, especially the older folks who live nearby. We don't have any corporate training or a business plan. We just learned everything by doing it ourselves. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is bad and the roads get muddy and hard to walk on. But we've stayed in this location because this is where our customers are. We don't plan on moving or expanding into something huge. We just want to keep things going as they are. It’s an honest living and we are satisfied with that. My brother usually handles the heavy lifting while I manage the books.
