Alif Wooden Punch Maker

Alif Wooden Punch Maker is a small workshop located in Andheri East. This part of the city is always crowded and the streets are narrow. We spend most of our time here working with different types of wood. There is always a layer of sawdust on everything, no matter how many times we sweep the floor. Making wooden punches is a slow process and requires a lot of focus. We don't use a lot of high-tech machinery. Most of what we do involves manual tools and steady hands. The shop is tucked away and doesn't have a big sign out front. It’s just a place where we work. We’ve been at this Andheri address for a long time. The heat in the summer can make the workshop quite stuffy, but we have a few old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a big company with many departments. Usually, if you call, you'll speak directly to someone who has their hands dirty from the work. We take our time with each piece because that’s the only way we know how to do it. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Our work is pretty basic and practical. We just want to make things that people can use for their own projects. It’s a quiet life, mostly just the sound of the saws and the radio playing in the background.
