Alfa Overseas

Our office, Alfa Overseas, is located in the Silver Spring building, right across from Filmalaya Studio in Andheri West. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving. We are up on the fourth floor in room A 401. It’s a handy spot because we are close to everything in Amboli. Most of our work involves export and import details, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking shipping schedules. The view from the window isn't much, just the street below, but it keeps us connected to the city's energy. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a computer that’s seen better days. We don’t really have a reception desk or anything, so if you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us working away. It gets quite loud with the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle a lot of different products depending on what our customers need. Some days are frantic with deadlines, and other days we’re just waiting on containers to clear. It’s a basic business life here in the 400058 zip code. We just focus on getting the goods from one place to another without too much fuss. It's a small team, and we all pitch in on whatever needs doing to keep the business going through the week.
