Alawal Old Furniture

Alawal Old Furniture is located at number 6 in Pandu Master Chawl. That’s over in Jogeshwari West. We deal with older pieces of furniture that people don't want anymore or things that need a bit of work. Our space is always packed with chairs, tables, and cabinets. It can be hard to walk through sometimes because there is so much stuff everywhere. We like the older things because they were made differently back then. People come by the chawl to see what we have picked up lately. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s just a place where we store and fix things. There is usually dust on our clothes by the end of the day. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors know us well. Jogeshwari is a busy area, but our little corner in the chawl stays pretty much the same. We spend our time cleaning up wood or fixing legs on tables. It's physical work. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us. If you are looking for something specific, you might have to dig through a pile to find it. That is just how we operate. We don't make promises about being the fastest, we just work at our own pace. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep the tools moving and the old wood looking better than when it arrived here.
